Nat and Dot would be just be chilling and prob be hunting buddies. Dot would promise to hook Nat up with free weed if they make it back.

Toni would have a sarcasm contest with Mari then would storm off and piss off Nat.

Laura Lee and Martha would be instant bffs

Shelby would piss off Van at first but they’ll slowly get along. She’s handy with a rifle and would def be sent out with Nat to hunt.

Rachel and Tai would compete over chores but realize that they can accomplish more if they work together.

Nora and Misty would be in one corner talking about murder and when Misty tries to poison Ben again, Nora would secretly switch it out

Rebellious, deadpan and sarcastic, traumatized from their fathers, complicated relationships with drugs, had to grow up too fast and raise themselves, compassionate and caring, good survival instincts in the wild due to already being in survival mode in their troubled home environments.

Shauna Shipman and Leah Rilke

Obsessive (tend to idolize and obsess over a particular person, as Shauna does with Jackie and Leah does with Jeffrey), smart and observant, unhealthy/rocky relationships, feeling invisible, sweet with a darkness underneath the surface, need to be loved, (also both fucking people named Jeff?)

Misty Quigley and Nora Reid

Socially awkward, have a hard time fitting in, unhinged, highly intelligent and knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, manipulative, and they are both the reason their friends are stranded (Misty broke the black box and Nora helped set up the experiment).

Taissa Turner and Rachel Reid

Ambitious, determined (sometimes to a fault as this determination to succeed can hurt themselves and/or those around them as we see with Tai breaking Allie’s leg and driving herself mad with her political campaign and Rachel’s ED/almost drowning Leah for the sake of finding the black box), smart, headstrong and stubborn, reliable and loyal, hard working.

Lottie Matthews and Martha Blackburn

Spiritual and in touch with nature, both have visions and hallucinations, kind and good-natured, healing, both have a tendency to comfort and heal others (the parallels between the Lottie and Travis panic attack scene and the Martha and Rachel scene where Rachel is stuck in quicksand are so strong), both have a connection to a person tragically lost after the crash and are guided by dreams/visions of this person (Lottie with Laura Lee and Martha with Jeanette).

In my opinion The boys island on the wilds would've been better if the boys were basically a genderbend of the girls.

I mean that in like a way where all their stories are similar because a lot of the stuff girls went through and their stories happen to boys too.

And I think it would've been a better story if we got to see how men deal with those issues and how men are raised and toxic masculinity

Like we get to see how men are taught and shown to deal with stuff and how different their experiences are.

What are your thoughts on Nora? (They'll never make hater her)

is she my favourite character? no, not by a long shot. however, i do understand her and think she's pretty intriguing.

i could never say i hate her; honestly if i was in her position i would have probably done the same thing for my sister. i think a lot of people are pretty hard on her. at the end of the day she was just a teenager like the others, being manipulated by gretchen just like everyone else.

i like to think that in season 3 she would have played a big part in how they escape the bunker/ second island. would also have loved to see her reunion with everyone else, specifically how rachel and leah would have reacted.

My friend got me hooked onto YellowJackets and since I watched the Wilds too, all I can say is that:

Leah would either be eaten first or be like Lottie or Misty. I’m gonna side with Lottie because Leah did go into the ocean.

Dot is def Natalie. She has the whole vibe down minus the abusive dad.

Shelby would be Laura Lee but she doesn’t die and she would be the hunter of the group. She’d be the hunter side of Natalie. I could also see her as Jackie.

Martha, my sweet angel would be Shauna, aka the Butcher.

If Leah isn’t eaten first then it would be Fatin. If not then she’d be Jackie.

Toni is Mari, need I say more?

Rachel is Taissa, both are very determined and passionate.

And Nora? I take it back, Leah won’t be like Misty, Nora would be like Misty.
